DEATH: Per Iowa Death Certificate Johnson Co registrar cause of death: Suicide gunshot Army rifle bullet went through body DEATH: Robert H Vennekohl d.13 Jan 1924 is in block 4, Lot 166 NW section grave c. I found that Robert Vennekohl was the original owner of the graves and then in June of 1945 the graves were placed in the name of Mr. And Mrs. August Wolf.....apparently they paid the perpetual care on the six grave sites, and that made them the current owner, as Mr. Vennekohl was already deceased Robert is in a grave owned by August WOLF August owned six graves and these are the interments NE-N Meta Wolf September 13, 1885 - October 18, 1974 NE-C August L. Wolf February 11, 1885 - October 10, 1975 NE-S Dorothy Franks December 9, 1909 - August 15, 2007 NW-N - George R. Marlow died in Feb. 1923 age 1 year And Infant VonHolt died in September 1952 NW-C is Robert H. VENNEKHOL 1862-1924 NW-S vacant We have no interment record for Margaret Mueller Vennehohl. List a burial in the NW-Grave This is just north of Robert Vennekohl Which would be concerned a proper burial for man and wife. In September of 1952 an Infant Von Holt was placed at the foot of this grave. At that time, the way the new information was entered on the card, it would be Easy for someone to "assume" the infant was the only interment. I personally think the record is indication an adult and an infant in this grave site. I will continue to check our records. The Graves are owned by August Wolf.
