"You asked about Aunt Vida. She was a Gall and a half sistor to my grandpa. Julia remarried after Johann died and married a Gall. She had 2 girls, Julie and Vida. Julie married a banker in St. Joseph, Mo., then they moved to St. Louis, MO. Aunt Vida lived in St. Louis too and I visited her in 1948 when several of my classmates lived in St. Louis. Several of us from here (St.
Joseph)went dow to visit them. Aunt Vida worked at the Congress Hotel and I went there to see her. She worked in the housekeeping department. She sent me the opal ring and diamond necklace that I gave to you (Janet Snowden Watts) before she died. The Gall that my great grandmother married had 6 sons from his first marriage and my Dad said the 6 were pallbearers when my grandpa died."
